Slim Metrix Testing and Quality: What the Badges Show and What They Leave Out
The Slim Metrix brand graphics show badges for GMP, a registered FDA facility, made in USA, natural, vegetarian, gluten free and more, plus a "3rd-party tested" check. None names a certifier, lab, maker or doctor, and no lab report has been published. The label itself is complete and readable, which is the strongest quality fact available.

The short answer
Is Slim Metrix third-party tested?
The brand says so, but no lab or report is named. A comparison chart in the brand graphics checks "3rd-party tested" for Slim Metrix and leaves it blank for an unnamed pouch.
That chart names no testing lab, no date and no result. It also checks "clinically studied ingredients," "GMP-certified facilities" and "allergen-free and clean." Each is a claim, not a document.
Real third-party testing leaves a trail: a lab name, a batch number that matches the bottle, and results for identity, potency and contaminants. Until one is shared, treat the check mark as marketing. The lot and CoA codes the seller supplied are covered on the batch verify page; they are reference codes, not lab results.

Badges
What do the Slim Metrix badges actually mean?
Ten brand badges, each with a plain note on what it does and does not tell you.

A brand badge. No certifier or audit report is named. FDA requires every supplement maker to follow good manufacturing practices.

A brand badge using the letters FDA. FDA issues no registration certificates, restricts use of its logo and does not approve supplements.

A brand badge. The maker and its facility are not named in the supplied images.

A brand claim. The capsule also contains magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide, and natural does not mean risk-free.

A brand roundel. No doctor is named, so we cannot check it.

A brand graphic. The written terms: 60 days, contact support first, return the containers, buyer pays postage.

A brand roundel. The label's hypromellose capsule is plant-based; no certifier is named.

A brand roundel, matching the sales page's gluten-free line. No test or certifier is named.

A brand roundel. No dairy ingredient appears on the label; no certifier is named.

A brand emblem with no certifying body named.
Badges describe what the brand says about itself. None of them is an endorsement from FDA, a lab or a certifying body.
What you can verify
Which Slim Metrix quality claims can you check?
Some facts sit on the label in plain sight. Others rest on the seller's word.
| Quality point | Where it comes from | Can you verify it? |
|---|---|---|
| Full ingredient list, blend in weight order | Supplement Facts panel | Yes, on the bottle |
| Zinc 5.5 mg and chromium 0.05 mg | Supplement Facts panel | Yes, on the bottle |
| Single amounts in the 276 mg blend | Not printed | Not published |
| Manufacturer and facility | Not shown in the supplied images | Check the bottle you receive |
| GMP certification | Brand badge, no certifier named | Not published |
| Third-party lab test | Brand chart, no lab named | Not published |
| "Registered FDA facility" | Brand badge | FDA issues no such certificates |
| Lot and CoA codes | Seller brief | Reference codes only, not lab proof |
| Lot and best-by on the bottle | Not visible in the supplied images | Check the base of your bottle |
FDA wording
Does a "registered FDA facility" badge mean Slim Metrix is FDA approved?
No. FDA does not approve dietary supplements or their labels before they are sold (FDA, Supplement Q&A). Makers are responsible for safety and for backing up their claims.
Registering a facility with FDA costs nothing. FDA issues no registration certificates and does not recognize certificates sold by private companies (FDA, Registration certificates).
FDA's logo policy also bars private use of its marks in ways that suggest endorsement (FDA, Logo policy). A badge with the letters FDA on a brand graphic tells you nothing FDA has checked about this product.
The GMP and "Manufacture in USA" badges may be true, but without a named maker or certifier no buyer can confirm them.

How do you check the Slim Metrix label yourself?
Tap a number on the panel. Compare each line with the bottle you receive.
- Serving size
1 capsule per serving, 30 servings per bottle. One bottle lasts 30 days.
- Calories and carbs
0 calories and under 1 g of carbohydrate: the capsule adds nothing to your food log.
- Zinc 5.5 mg
Half the 11 mg Daily Value. The adult upper limit is 40 mg a day from all sources.
- Chromium 0.05 mg
That is 50 mcg. The label says 41.67% DV, but today's DV is 35 mcg, so it is about 143%.
- One 276 mg blend
Eight ingredients share 276 mg, about 35 mg each on average. No single amounts are printed.
- Alpha-lipoic acid first
Listed first, so it is the largest share, up to 276 mg. The brand's ingredient graphic leaves it out.
- Green tea extract
Second: at most 138 mg of extract, about 69 mg EGCG. Extract pills carry a rare liver warning.
- Berberine HCl
Fourth: at most about 69 mg. Weight effects in studies were seen mainly above 1,000 mg a day.
- Resveratrol and cayenne
Fifth and sixth. Cayenne's 40,000 H.U. is a heat rating, not a capsaicin amount.
- Ginseng and banaba
The two smallest shares. Banaba's 2% corosolic acid works out to under 1 mg.
- Daily Value not established
The ** means no Daily Value exists for the blend ingredients, which is normal.
- Directions
Take 1 capsule daily, preferably in the morning. Adults only.
- Other ingredients
A plant-based hypromellose capsule, cellulose filler, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.
If the panel on your bottle differs from the one shown, for example a different capsule count or mineral amount, contact support before you take any. The full transcription is on the Supplement Facts page.
What is missing
What would make Slim Metrix's quality claims stronger?
Four records would settle most questions. None appears in the materials supplied so far.
- The manufacturer's name and the facility that made the batch.
- A certificate of analysis from a named lab, matched to a lot number on the bottle.
- The GMP certifier, if the facility uses one, and the audit date.
- Single amounts for berberine, green tea extract and the rest of the blend.

FAQ
Slim Metrix testing and quality: common questions
Has Slim Metrix been tested by an independent lab?
No lab report has been published. A brand chart checks "3rd-party tested," but it names no lab, date or result. Ask the seller for a certificate of analysis from a named lab, matched to the lot number on your bottle, before you count that claim.
Is Slim Metrix made in a GMP facility?
The brand shows a GMP badge, but no certifier, audit or facility is named. FDA expects every supplement maker to follow good manufacturing practices, so the badge alone adds little. The maker is not named in the supplied images either.
Where is Slim Metrix made?
The supplied label images do not name a manufacturer, distributor or address. A brand badge says "Manufacture in USA" without naming a facility. Look for a maker or distributor line on the bottle you receive, and ask the order desk if none is printed.
Does Slim Metrix contain gluten or dairy?
Brand roundels say naturally gluten free and dairy free, and no dairy or wheat ingredient appears on the label. No test or certifier is named for either claim. People with celiac disease or a serious allergy should ask the seller for written confirmation first.
Is Slim Metrix vegan?
The label does not say vegan. The capsule shell is hypromellose, a plant-based material, and a brand roundel says vegetarian. The label does not state the magnesium stearate source. Email the sales address if you need a firm answer.
Does the FDA test Slim Metrix?
No. FDA does not approve or test dietary supplements before they go on sale (FDA, Supplement Q&A), and it cannot test every product (FDA, Hidden drug notice). Makers are responsible for safety. FDA can act after a product is on the market if problems are found.
What does GMP mean on a supplement label?
GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice: rules for clean, consistent production and record-keeping. A GMP badge on its own does not show who checked the facility or when. A named certifier and audit date make the claim checkable.
