Buyer check

Is Slim Metrix Legit? What Checks Out and What Does Not

Quick answer

Slim Metrix looks like a real product with a full ingredient label, a BuyGoods checkout and a written 60-day refund policy. That makes it a legitimate purchase, not proof that it works. No trial of the formula exists, the maker is not named, and berberine is at most about 69 mg per capsule, far below studied doses.

Short verdict

Is Slim Metrix legit or a scam?

Slim Metrix is a legitimate product in the plain sense: you can see its full label, pay through a known checkout and ask for your money back within 60 days. It is not a proven weight-loss product, and its marketing promises more than the label supports.

"Legit" asks whether you get what you paid for and can get a refund. "Does it work" asks whether these amounts change your weight. The first answer is mostly yes. The second has no study behind it.

We checked everything below on October 12, 2026. Slimmetrixfit, a licensed U.S. retail desk for Slim Metrix, runs this website. We are not the maker, and we earn money when you buy through our order links.

In one line

A real capsule with a real refund window. The sales page calls it "fat-burning," but no trial backs that up.

Eight checks

How does Slim Metrix score on the usual scam checks?

It passes the basic buyer checks and falls short on proof. The table shows each one.

None of the gaps is rare for an online supplement. Together they mean you buy on the label, not on evidence.

The formula

Is there enough of each ingredient in Slim Metrix to matter?

Probably not for weight. The order of the blend sets a ceiling on every ingredient.

Proprietary Blend: 276 mg per capsule, 8 ingredients, no single amountsBars show the most each ingredient could weigh, from its place in the list. Average: about 35 mg each.
  1. 1Alpha-lipoic acid35 to 276 mgListed first: the largest share, at least about 35 mg
  2. 2Green tea leaf extract (80% catechins, 50% EGCG)0 to 138 mgAt most about 110 mg catechins and 69 mg EGCG
  3. 3Milk thistle seed extract (80% silymarin)0 to 92 mg
  4. 4Berberine HCl (97% berberine)0 to 69 mgStudies of weight used 300-1,500 mg a day
  5. 5Resveratrol (Polygonum cuspidatum root extract 200:1)0 to 55 mg
  6. 6Cayenne fruit (40,000 H.U.)0 to 46 mgH.U. is a heat rating, not a capsaicin amount
  7. 7Korean ginseng aerial extract (8% ginsenosides)0 to 39 mg
  8. 8Banaba leaf extract (2% corosolic acid)0 to 34 mgAt most about 0.69 mg corosolic acid

Blend ingredients are listed from heaviest to lightest (FDA, Labeling guide ch. IV), so the ingredient in place k can weigh at most 276 ÷ k mg. That is our math from the label, not a lab test; the real amounts are probably lower. Zinc (5.5 mg) and chromium (50 mcg) sit outside the blend with their own amounts.

Berberine is the ingredient people search for, and it sits fourth. One capsule can hold at most about 69 mg. Per NCCIH, the weight effects of berberine showed up mainly above 1 gram a day, and the evidence is still not conclusive (NCCIH, Berberine and weight loss).

A product can be honestly labeled and still be too weak to show an effect. See the berberine page.

Fair view

What are the green flags and red flags for Slim Metrix?

Both lists are real. Read them side by side before you decide.

Green flags

  • Every ingredient is named, blend in weight order.
  • Zinc and chromium amounts are printed.
  • One capsule a day, 0 calories, plant-based capsule.
  • No subscription or bonus offer was attached.
  • A written 60-day money-back window.
  • The support email matches on the brief and the sales page.

Red flags

  • "Thermogenic fat-burning" framing with no study of the product.
  • Berberine, green tea and alpha-lipoic acid sit well under the doses used in studies.
  • The label's chromium percentage rests on an old Daily Value.
  • Badges name no certifier, lab or doctor.
  • You cannot buy one bottle; orders start at two.
  • Two phone numbers and two return addresses.

"Registered FDA facility" is a badge, not an approval; FDA issues no registration certificates (FDA, Registration certificates). More on the testing and quality page.

Sales tactics

Are the Slim Metrix countdown timer and sale prices a warning sign?

They are pressure tactics, not proof of a scam. The sales page shows a countdown timer, a sale banner and larger struck-through prices next to the real ones. This site does not repeat them, because a timer tells you nothing about the capsule.

The page also shows a star score and a "capsules shipped" figure with no source. We leave both out. Its three testimonials are marked "not typical," and one praises cinnamon, which is not on the label (Slim Metrix sales page).

The FTC lists red flags in weight-loss ads, such as loss without diet or exercise, results for everyone and permanent results (FTC, Weight loss ads). Slim Metrix's sales page does not promise a number of pounds. It does lean on "fat-burning" and "metabolic boost" language that its own label does not repeat. Federal rules now ban fake and AI-written reviews (FTC, Fake reviews rule 2024).

Look-alikes

How can you tell a real Slim Metrix bottle from a copy?

Match the label numbers. A copy may use the name but rarely matches every line.

We could not verify any seller besides the brand's sales page. Elsewhere, compare the label before you pay and again on arrival.

  • 30 capsules per bottle, 1 capsule per serving.
  • Zinc (as zinc gluconate) 5.5 mg and chromium (as chromium picolinate) 0.05 mg.
  • One proprietary blend of 276 mg, alpha-lipoic acid listed first.
  • Other ingredients: hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Also look for a lot number and best-by date on the base of the bottle; none shows in the supplied images. Our seller reference codes, Lot SLI-26/SL-2954 and CoA SLI-2954-26-SL, are not lab proof. The batch verify page explains what to ask.

FDA has found weight-loss "supplements" hiding prescription drugs (FDA, Hidden drug notice). A missing label line is reason enough to return a bottle unopened.

A blank brown kraft pouch with a plain white label and no brand name
The brand uses this blank pouch as its "other brand" stand-in. An unlabeled look-alike gives you nothing to check against.

Buy it safely

How do you buy Slim Metrix without getting burned?

  1. Order from the sales page

Use the order buttons, which open the BuyGoods checkout, and check the total before you pay.

It holds your order ID and tracking. You need the ID for any refund.

  3. Check the label on arrival

  4. Mark day 60 on a calendar

The money-back window counts from purchase. Ask for a return before it closes; see the money-back terms.

FAQ

Is Slim Metrix legit? Common questions

Is Slim Metrix a scam or a real company?

We found no sign of a scam in the usual sense: the label lists every ingredient, BuyGoods runs the checkout and a 60-day refund policy is in writing. The weak point is the marketing: the sales page calls it "fat-burning," and no trial of the formula has been published.

Is Slim Metrix a real product or a fake?

It is a real capsule product with a printed Supplement Facts panel: 30 capsules, zinc 5.5 mg, chromium 0.05 mg and a 276 mg blend. Copies are a separate risk. Compare those numbers with any bottle you see sold outside the brand's sales page.

Who is behind Slim Metrix?

The supplied label images and the sales page do not name a manufacturer. BuyGoods processes orders on the sales page. Slimmetrixfit, which runs this website, is a licensed U.S. retail desk for Slim Metrix; it did not make the product. Look for a maker's name on the bottle you receive.

Are Slim Metrix reviews real?

We have not verified any. The sales page shows three testimonials marked "not typical," and one credits cinnamon, which the label does not contain. Its star score has no source. We publish a review only after it is matched to a real order.

Is the Slim Metrix FDA badge real?

The "Registered FDA facility" badge is a brand graphic, not an FDA approval. FDA issues no registration certificates and does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold. No facility or maker is named next to the badge.

Does Slim Metrix actually do anything?

No study of Slim Metrix exists, so no one can say. Its berberine is at most about 69 mg per capsule, while weight effects in studies showed up mainly above 1 gram a day. Expect small effects at most, and pair any supplement with eating, activity and sleep changes.

Is it safe to order Slim Metrix online?

Ordering through the brand's sales page uses the BuyGoods checkout, which shows the total before you pay. Keep your order email, check the label when the bottle arrives, and contact support before mailing any return. Only mail to an address support confirms in writing.
